Kaylan Lady

Nurse Practitioner

Kaylan Lady is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, who has a deep passion for aesthetic medicine. She has 16 years of experience having first completed her undergraduate degree at Chamberlain University. She then continued her education and graduated from California State University, San Marcos with her Masters in Nursing, specializing in their Family Nurse Practitioner track. Kaylan is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and performs treatments including Botox, Dysport, Juvéderm, Restylane, Kybella, laser treatments, as well as PRP injections.

Kaylan prefers to take a consultative approach with her patients to understand what their goals and aspirations are. Together they can then create an individualized treatment plan. She uses her specialized and advanced knowledge to deliver safe, youthful and natural results. Her injectable philosophy is that no patient should leave the office looking "done" and she aims to safely deliver subtle enhancements to emphasize their natural beauty.

Kaylan has a contagious passion for skincare. She loves to educate her patients about the preventative and restorative benefits of a simple yet effective medical grade skincare routine. She also has a goal to make sure that all of her patients remain diligent applying sunblock on a daily basis especially here in sunny Southern California. Kaylan states, "I realize that good skincare is a daily commitment but there is nothing more gratifying to me than looking in the mirror admiring glowing skin." She loves to help guide her patients in what products, treatments and lasers can help them to achieve their optimal results.

Kaylan lives in San Diego with her husband and two cats; Max and Marlowe. She loves to workout, whether it's catching an OTF class, hot yoga or getting in a Peloton workout. She also loves to ride bikes with her husband by the beach, sit on a sunny patio for lunch, or try a new recipe for a cozy dinner at home.

Riley Pope, Patient Coordinator

Riley Pope

Patient Coordinator

Riley has been in the aesthetics field since 2017. She graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health. She has had a lifelong interest in aesthetic and plastic surgery- she loves what she does and believes that looking and feeling great go hand in hand!

Riley meets with our patients during their initial consultation with Dr. Malone and follows along closely with them through scheduling surgery. She plays an integral role in our patients' experience as she is helping answer questions and providing helpful insight along the way. What Riley loves most about her job is seeing each patient's full journey- from the initial consultation to the final outcome. Riley strives to take the little worries out of big decisions. When Riley is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog outdoors and playing beach volleyball.

Amber Lewis, Clinical Director

Amber Lewis

Clinical Director

A reassuring voice before surgery, an aide to Dr. Malone in the OR, and a comforting post-op presence, Amber supports our surgical patients throughout their transformational journeys. It's a role she finds rewarding, though not one she would have predicted as a new UC Santa Cruz psychology grad waiting tables. Now, with 15 years of clinical experience, it's hard for her to imagine a more perfect fit.

Skills Amber mastered in her restaurant work—multitasking, dealing with urgency, and paying attention to detail—opened the door to her first job in the OR, where she instantly felt at home. "I was always the one taking care of my skateboarding brother and his friends when they fell," she says, "and I was fascinated by the surgery channel."

Amber is still amazed by "the transformation aspect" of plastic surgery and says her favorite moments come when happy patients return for 3-month follow-up, "and I get to hear I was right" in promising beautiful results. That's also when Amber most appreciates her psychology education. "Knowing I've successfully walked patients through their healing is gratifying."

Outside of work, Amber enjoys hiking and traveling. (She once spent 5 months backpacking in South America.) She especially loves exploring Baja with friends, sampling restaurants and wineries. And at home? "No one needs to know that I'm a crazy cat lady."
